Mike and I never really discussed getting engagement photos done. We had a perfect photo that his brother took for our the save the dates and we've been more focused on our wedding than on documenting our engagement. When we got into the DIY madness that is making your own wedding invites we came up with the idea of printing a photo of us on vellum paper as the cover to the invite. We fell in love with the idea... and then quickly realized we needed more photo options. That's when we decided to take my camera out, set it up, and have my sister-in-law help snap these few photos of us. I absolutely love how they turned out and looking back on it, I'm so glad we have these to hold on to. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
